Office 2016 for Mac is available for Mac

This is good news for users of the Microsoft Office software suite: the software giant is far from abandoning the Mac and a major upgrade of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and Outlook is in the pipes! Office 2016 has indeed been officially announced by Microsoft, with output to be held mid-2015. The software is currently available in beta, with an interface that brings a wind of freshness sizeable following Office for Mac, almost five years after the release of Office 2011.
On the menu, many novelties are obviously in the game. The interface of the different software has been extensively reworked, and reorganized ribbons. The entire suite is also optimized for Retina displays. Side features, note the arrival of onedrive support (cloud service). Each software receives its share of new features and improvements, such as support for new statistical functions Excel or a new collaborative mode on Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

If you want to test the new software, simply visit this page and download the first beta of the new version of Office. Note that OS X 10.10 Yosemite is required to use the new software, but you do not need to have Office 2011 (if that is the case, you can continue to use both versions). But be careful: it is as we have just seen a beta version, and it therefore has certainly more bugs a final version!
